Financial Incentive: Up to $50,000

  • Living Stipend provided through grant funds
    ($28,000 - $38,000)
  • Monthly stipend through district/charter
    (during school year)
  • $500 month minimum
  • Assessments fees (CSET, RICA, TPA) paid through grant funds ($300-$800)
  • Induction Program tuition provided upon successful completion of TRP ($1,500-$2,500)

Eligibility/Requirements

  • College graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree
  • Meet the Basic Skills Requirements (CBEST)
  • Participate in an intense clinical practice (student teaching) alongside a mentor teacher for the entire school year
  • Attend all Teacher Residency Program professional learning sessions
  • Complete Pacific Oaks College Preliminary Teaching Credential Program leading to a California Multiple Subject Credential with an emphasis on Transitional Kindergarten or Education Specialist Teaching Credential
  • Complete all credential requirements including Subject Matter Requirements (CSET), TPA, RICA, Observations, and Coursework with a 3.0
  • Teach in participating district for a minimum of 4 years after completing the program
